Beautiful lava house in an area where there were stone animal pens which gave it its name. It offers breath-taking views: the entire island of São Jorge and the canal, in front, and, on the left, undulating bays of parishes on the beautiful north coast of Pico. Birds and sea waves are heard. You can dine inside in a modern rustic open space style living / dining room, or outdoors, while enjoying the view of an absolutely sublime sunset and a completely starred sky.
This house is part of a small family owned resort, where there is a restaurant called Magma, a grocery store, a yoga room and an heated swimming pool.
