Location
Lava Homes is located in the village of Santo Amaro, in Terra Alta, on the north coast of the island facing São Jorge island. It is about 20 km from São Roque do Pico and 32 km from Pico airport.
To get to the island of Pico, there is the possibility of taking direct flights between Lisbon and the island of Pico (see information below) or making a stopover in the islands of São Miguel, Terceira and Faial. In addition to flying, you can travel by boat (ferry) from the island of Faial and the island of São Jorge.
On Pico island using a car, the best way to reach us is via the ER1 road along the coastline. On the day of check-in, especially if it is done at night, we do not advise the mountain road.
